Competitive Events

Competitive Events

True glory and fame in Eternium Ascended comes from topping the leaderboards in competitive, limited time events, which are unlocked once the account has at least one level 70 Hero. Players earn rewards based on progress and leaderboard position at the end of the event.

In contrast to Eternal Mode and casual events, in these events you will have the opportunity to create a brand new Hero and start the game over with various modifications, which include a maximum amount of gameplay time. The timer only applies to time spent in levels where battle occurs - it does not count time spent outside of battle, for example configuring the Hero, managing inventory, or upgrading abilities.

Events have bounties generously rewarding Season XP, providing an alternative way to advance Eternal characters while enjoying the thrill of starting over with a new Hero.

Event: A New Beginning

In A New Beginning (ANB) events, players create a new Hero and progress as far as possible in the given amount of play time to earn great rewards. In each Event:

  • Heroes gain 50% more experience!

  • Timers are shorter.

  • Unlocks are less expensive.

Some items received through event milestone rewards are ephemeral. Ephemeral items expire when the event ends.

Event: Survive the Land

A further evolution from the straightforward ANB events, in Survive the Land all crafting is turned off! You must grow in power using only items found or purchased. It’s a bit harder this way, but the LOOT is better - and a lot more important!

Crafting is a major part of the Eternium Ascended experience, so not having it really shakes things up.
